About SCFF

The Swahili Community Funeral Fund (SCFF) was established in 2019 by local members from the community in order to help the families in difficult time when their loved one passes away. It is obvious known to all of us it is very expensive to do the burial in UK and not everyone can afford to cover immediately expenses / costs of burial when DEATH of member of the family occurs. We understand arranging a burial can be costly and stressful, our goal is to support families by making the process easier – both financially and practically.

We at Swahili Community Funeral Fund SCFF believe that when one family is grieving the whole Community feels that loss. In our culture and faith, we honour this by coming together. Our volunteers are experienced and ready to help from the moment a loved one passes until the burial is complete. We are here to give honest, respectful and simple guidance to make things easier for your family.   

Currently we are providing these services to the family with athematic origin from East Africa where most of them their native language is Swahili.
